Wes Hatch has been playing, teaching and repairing horns for over thirty years.He has played principal horn with nearly every orchestra in Southeast Wisconsin, and was a substitute with the Milwaukee Symphony for seventeen years.He played horn and Wagner tuba with Chicago Lyric Opera in performances of Wagner`s Ring Cycle and was a member of Zubin Mehta`s " Zubin`s Tuben ". Wes was the Tester and Foreman of Final Assembly with the Frank Holton Company for ten years , during which time he worked with many of the world`s best known horn players, including Phil Farkas, Barry Tuckwell, Louis Stout and Ethel Merker. After many years of study and experimentation ,and using the best materials available ,Wes has developed a Geyer style horn that compares very favorably with the best custom horns.
